It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Orville James Ashley of Prattsville, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 90, on May 1, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Daniel and Clarid McCool Ashley; his siblings, Olton Ashley and Juanita Crutchfield; and his wife Becky Ashley.

He is survived by: his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Rob Thompson of Bauxite; his sister Oleda Jean Norwood of Citrus Heights, CA; and his grandchildren, Lennon Smith (Olivia), Marlee Thompson and Lindie Walker (Jake). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Harmony Missionary Baptist Church or Poyen Basketball, Poyen School District, 14296 US 270, Poyen, AR.
