He was predeceased by : his parents, Dudley Daniel and Clarid McCool Ashley; his siblings, Olton Ashley and Juanita Crutchfield; and his wife Becky Ashley.

He is survived by : his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Rob Thompson of Bauxite; his sister Oleda Jean Norwood of Citrus Heights, CA; and his grandchildren, Lennon Smith (Olivia), Marlee Thompson and Lindie Walker (Jake). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
