He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phyllis and Walter Thomas Sr.; his former wife Lois Lee; his wife Joan Townsend; his children, Angela Pfeiffer (Justin), Tommy Thomas (Rebekah), Rachael Vacha (Chad), Daniel Thomas and Robert Thomas; his grandchildren, Brittany Polhemus, Tracen Vacha, Savannah Polhemus, Allison Villines, Heavenleigh Angel Vacha, Amberly Villines, Logan Villines, Angel Thomas, Cassandra Thomas and Lillyauna Villines; his great grandchild Jude Harvey; and his sisters, Linda Ballou, Barbara Miller (John), Katherine Harvey and Charlene LaMarre. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
