He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Benson Gregory and Ruby Mae Mitchell Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Janet Gregory; his children, Richard Gregory Jr. (Gwyn), Darren Gregory (Cyndi), Wendy Hansen (Steve), Tammy Sanders (Jim) and Jammey Gregory; and his siblings, Sally Osburn-Peterson, James Gregory, Jana Hopping, Jodi Gregory-Trimmer and Ken Gregory. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren.
