He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Allen Royal and Dorothy Mae Royal (Potts); his wife Rita "Susie" Royal; and his brother Thomas R. Royal. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Royal-Grise (Richard) and Meghan Shelton (Mark) of Farmington, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Noah Grise, Simon Grise, Corbin Shelton, Grayson Shelton, Addison Shelton, Hudson Shelton and Holden Shelton; and his brother Larry Royal of Rogers, Arkansas..
