She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Gaines and Elizabeth Gaines (Shumate); and her husband James O. Ferguson. She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Skelton of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Vickie Ferguson of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, David Skelton (Whitley) and Robin Skelton.
