She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Leroy "Lub" and Virginia Slaughter (Galloway); her husband John Clark; her son Kerry Carter; and her siblings, Burt, Michael Slaughter and Tonya Warren.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Carter (Tracy) and Kimberly Pinkley (Donald); her sister-in-law Bunny Slaughter; her grandchildren, Brandon Carter (Dana), Kara Carter, Mason Pinkley (Bethany), Laney Jones (Andy), Kody Carter (Brittany) and Katy Chambers (Ryan); and her close friend Jim Baker. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home (115 N Neal St, Prairie Grove, AR 72753). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Luginbuel Chapel (115 N Neal St, Prairie Grove, AR 72753).
