He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benton and Dolores Kathleen Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Michele Crain; his children, Leigh Crain of Ceres, Lauren Egan (Jon) of San Diego and Eric Crain of Fullerton, California; his stepchildren, Jeff Wright of Ceres and Cynthia Robinson (Dean) of Modesto, California; his sisters, Kathy Eagan (Richard) of San Antonio, Colleen Landells of Grapevine and Virginia Machovec of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Conor Egan, Cassydi Wright, Ajiah Wright, Kaleb Wright and Leilah Wright.
