He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Leonard and Oneta Leonard. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindi Leonard Alexander and Laurie Leonard Smith (Craig) of Atlanta, GA; his grandsons, Cade Alexander and Jack Alexander; and his wife Margaret Lewis Leonard.
