She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Cawthon and Lula Cawthon (Hunton); her husband James Isom Douthit; her sisters, Mary Jean Coulter and Theda Ezell; her daughter Janette Irene Drake; and her grandson Daniel Pense.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Ann Pense of Springdale and Diane Annette Baker (Ray) of Prairie Grove. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
