He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Hamilton and Dora Lee Hamilton (Carter); and his siblings, Merrel, Orville, Opal, Othalee and Betty.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Jo Hamilton; his children, Scott Hamilton (Michelle) and Tammy West (Roger) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; his grandsons, Timothy Hamilton, Logan West (Taylor), Aaron West, Hunter Hamilton and Trenton Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Liam, Heidi and Bennett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
