He was predeceased by: his father Barney Dodd; his siblings, Sam Dodd and Barbara Abbott; his half-brother Mark Dodd; his stepsister Mary Robinson; and his stepfather John DeVore.
He is survived by: his wife Dena Dodd; his mother Leona Williamson DeVore; his sons, David Dodd (Tracy), Gary Dodd (Nancy), John Dodd (Debbie) and Dakota Finical-Dodd; his stepchildren, Tony Finical (Christina), Amanda Dobbs (Brent) and Deanna Secrist (Doug); his stepbrothers, Richard Houston (Dawn) and Roger Houston (Diane); his half-brother John Dodd; and his stepsisters, Lillie Newkirk (Lloyd) and Norma Huffman (Joe). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
