It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie L Remington of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James S Wood and Effie C Wood (Ledford); her husband Stanley Wayne Remington; her son-in-law Joe Velten; and her siblings, Melvin J Wood, Nola Mae Barnes, Sally Leora Ostrom, Jessie Joyce Robinson and James Eddy Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Wayne Remington (Debbie) and Brenda Lucille Velten; her brother Thurman Wood; her grandchildren, Charlie Daniels of Elkins, Dennis Daniels of Prairie Grove, Amanda Velten of Prairie Grove, Marcressa Hattenhauer of Prairie Grove and Kimberly Rose of Prairie Grove; and her stepgrandchildren, Kary Reed of Prairie Grove, Frankie Reed of Prairie Grove and Chantal Redden of Van Buren. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; twenty two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many many wonderful friends.
