She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson McBroom and Myrtle McBroom (Hicks); her son Jesse Lynn Cooke; and her brother Gary McBroom. She is survived by: her children, Noah Jefferson Cooke (Brenda), Ouida Poythress (Don) and Robin Sutton; her stepson Michael Cooke; and her grandchildren, Sarah Villines, Aaron Cooke, Andrew Cooke, Miriam Cooke, Joshua Cooke, Destiny McCallister, Donovan Sutton, Robert Sutton, Skyla Sutton and Jaxson Sutton. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
