He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smith and Rachel Britt Smith; his siblings, Johnny, Ray, Thomas Smith, Beulah Curtis and Ruby Stephenson; his son Randy Smith; and his stepdaughter Kaye Sisk.
He is survived by: his children, Sanford Smith (Virginia) and Lesa Gramling (Rick); and his stepsons, Bill Lawson, Gary Lawson (Judy) and Terry Lawson (Mary). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, & friends.
