He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jones and Molly Evans; and his sisters, Kathy Kole, Peggy Jane and Rebecca Jones.

He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Winters of Jonesboro; and his children, James Jones of Powhattan, Elizabeth Pickard (Douglas) of Jonesboro and Ammie Hall of Beebe. He is also survived by family members and friends.
