He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brandon Goad; his daughters, Tammy Thompson (Adam) and Amy Goad (Matthew Lakey); his siblings, William Jones (Margarett), Della Meeks, Elizabeth Byrd, Charlene Doyle (Ron) and Joann Smith; his grandchildren, Christian Woodard, Daniel Woodard, Chase Guthrie, Amelia Guthrie, Holly Woodard, Dillon Guthrie, Liliann Woodard and Trenten Thompson; his great grandchild Grayson Woodard; and also Peggy Goad.
