He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Boyd (Gene Shelton) and Earnest Lee Boyd; his wife Sarah Ann Boyd; his son Winston Donald Boyd; and his brothers, Bill, Harold and James Boyd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jannie Walker (Shawn) and Sarah Annette Bailey; and his brothers, Bernard Boyd (Patricia), Johnny Lee Boyd (Lori), Royce Boyd (Becky) and Mike Lee Boyd (Carol). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
