It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Whitbey (Pottsville, Arkansas), born in Dover, Arkansas, who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harvey and Bertha Lee Smith Gray; her husband Clifford Allen Whitbey; her grandchildren, Debra Lee Moore, Larry Gene Whitbey and Sandra Wynette Winters; and her sister Lois Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy (Lee Shaddon), Wayne, Larry (Francis Whitbey) and Judy Manning; and her grandchildren, Joy (James Lewis), Terry (Karen Shaddon), Darla (Frank Bates), Allen (Laura Whitbey), Richard (Nickki Whitbey), Michael (Tiffany Whitbey), Steven Whitbey, Scotty (Krystle Manning), Shawn (Mary Jo Manning) and Ashley (Charles German).
