He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd R. Self and Nina Fay Self (Helton); his stepfather A. C. Hatcher; and his son Kenneth Self. He is survived by : his children, Lisa Reed of Sulphur Springs, Zina Vanwey of Arkansas, Kenney Self of Sulphur Springs, Chris Self of Sulphur Springs and Michael Self of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and his grandchildren, Lucy Rogers, Brandon Teague, William Reed, Patricia Reed, Rowdy Self, Dalton Self, Devin Self, Heather Self, Dustin Self, Tandalyn Patrick, Cory Cummings, Shaila Self and Megan Robinson. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
