He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stroud and Irma Hill Stroud; his son Michael Stepps; and his sisters, Mary Akins and Elizabeth B. Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Stroud; and his children, Kelvin (Fatima Stepp) of Little Rock, AR, Kevin (April Stroud) of Crossett, AR, John Wilson of Bastrop, LA, James (Egra Wilson) of Pine Bluff, AR, Mildred (Lardell Wilson) of Bastrop, LA, Sharon (Thomas Debose) of Bastrop, LA and Karen Minneweather of Bastrop, LA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cromwell Funeral Home (600 E St Louis St, Hamburg, AR 71646). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel (600 E St Louis St, Hamburg, AR 71646).
