She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Dobbs and Vida Lee Quarry Dobbs; her husband Carl Dean Herring; her son Lester Herring; her grandson Matthew Cole; and her siblings, Ed Dobbs, Darrell Dobbs, Pauline Henke, Faye Copeland and Ruby Dobbs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laverne Rainwater (Stanley), Carleen Skinner, Cheryl Herring, Cynthia Milburn, Brenda Jones (Ricky) and Mary Stormes (Junior); her siblings, Barbara Tennison (Tom), Shirley Gipson, Phyllis Francis, Linda Krepps, Bonnie Woody and Ricky Dobbs; and her daughter-in-law Linda. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many other families and friends.
