It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Wilson in Pocahontas, Arkansas, born in Elaine, Arkansas, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George Issic Wilson; and his siblings, Dorothy Harper, David, Lewis and Larry Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Glen Dean Wilson; his children, Willie C. Wilson, Jr. of Imboden, James Earl Wilson of Pocahontas, Tracy Lynn Wilson of Wynne, Arkansas and Polly Ann Wilson Hurt of Wynne, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Kirsten Godwin (Caleb), Jody Odel, Blakley Walker (Grant), Ashley Buell (Andy), Catie Davis (Kevin), Zach Wilson (Carrie) and Zeb Wilson (Makenzi); and his siblings, Virgy Tillman of Manard, Valley Ray of Hattiesburg, Frank Wilson of Imboden and Tom Wilson of Ashflat, Arkansas.. He is also survived by eleven great-grand-children.
