He is survived by: his wife Mary Goodman Hester; his children, Michael Hester, Wesley Hester, Becky Hester Booth, Lavonda Barnes, Lee Caskey, Valerie Hester and Katie Hester-Franks; and his pet Chloe. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
