It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia Grooms of Pocahontas, Arkansas, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Baker and Thelma Baker; her sons, Doug Grooms, Jerry Roberts, Floyd Roberts and Michael Roberts; her brother Kenny Baker; and her grandsons, Raymond Roberts and Kenneth Whatney.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Donovan (John) of Utah and Barbara Roberts of Mississippi; her sister Barbara Herrera; and her grandchildren, Michael of Casey, AJ, Tiffany, Alec, Nicole, Kerrie and Robbie. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 directives, issued by the Governor of Arkansas specifically for funeral services, the following will be required in order to attend the visitation and/or funeral service: wearing of a face mask, signing the contact registry, and maintaining all social distancing requirements.
