He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lloyd and Ruby Jewel Richmond Shipley; his sister Marilyn Jo Shipley; his mother-in-law Pauline Walker; and his siblings-in-law, Katherine Walker and James Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Louise Walker Shipley; his son Jason Shipley (Katrina Snow) of Pocahontas; his siblings, Alan Shipley (Michelle) of Pocahontas, Brenda Carroll of Maynard and Patsy Jones (Billy Mack) of Smithville; and his granddaughters, Amelia "Millie" Richey, Jalyn Shipley and Addison Shipley.
