It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Griffin of Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Barnes and Beaulah Jackson Barnes; her husband Sterlin Griffin; her daughter Debbie Louise Meeks; her grandson Heath Lewis; and her siblings, Jack Barnes, Douglas "Windy" Barnes, Carrol "Bunk" Barnes and Sue Stockwell.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Meeks (Netta), Richard Meeks (Beth), Gina Woods (Darriel), Greg Meeks (Barbara), Rick Griffin, Todd Griffin (Lisa) and Shawn Griffin (Andrea); and her sister Betty Hufstedler. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
