He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Rodney and May Meinheit Artz Sr. Rodney; and his siblings, Jean Artz Jr., George "Jiggs" Artz, James Artz, William F. Artz, Mary Lou Richter and Lois Joan Artz.
He is survived by: his former wife Esther E. Morrison; his wife Diana Peve Artz; his children, Rodney "Rod" Artz Jr. of Pecatonica, Brian Robinson of Arkansas, Kathy Burfield (Rick) of Pecatonica, Chris Geiser (Randy) of South Carolina, Loreene Brews (George) of Dakota, Sheila Moore (Rick) of Yuma, Sally Gipson (Robert) of Pocahontas and Jeannie Fort (Chris) of Pocahontas; his siblings, Jerry Artz (Sharon) of Loves Spark, Lyle Artz of Kennett, John Artz and Helen Stell-King of Loves Spark, Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Ray Peve (Donna) of Pocahontas, Arthur Peve (Terri) of Arizona and Lila Carr of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Joshua, Brandon, Jason, Sarah, Nick, Josh, Landon, Chloe and Sophie; and his friends, Willie, Scott, Ronnie and Tim.
Those attending must follow the directives issued by the Governor of Arkansas that include, but are not limited to, the following: wearing a face covering, signing the contact registry, and maintaining social distancing at all times.
