It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Francis Leister of Pocahontas, Arkansas, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Charles and Jeannie Pilitowski Leister; his son Jeffrey Leister; and his siblings, Henry, George Leister, Virginia Hirsch and Betty Jennings.
He is survived by: his wife Stella Thielemier Leister; his children, Melinda Levesque, Barry Leister, Stacey Vance (Greg) and David Leister; and his grandchildren, Michelle Ongman, Eric Robinson, Ashley Wilkes, Billy Leister, Taylor Leister, Shane Nichols, Shaun Nichols, Ryan Baker, Sean Baker, Allison Leister, Alex Leister, Amber Leister and Aiden Leister. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
