She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Warren Downing, Jr.; her parents, Ed Walker and Vera Walker (Gosney); and her siblings, Earl Walker, Elma Senteney (Walker), Betty Sitz (Walker), Naomi King (Walker) and Vernon Walker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Hesse (Phil) and Ina Raye Hurdle (Hilton); her grandchildren, Jessica McClard (Hesse), Candace Cooper (Tim), Matt Hurdle (Amanda) and Alexis Hurdle Besharse (John); and her great grandchildren, Grier McClard (Schade Nelson), Sloane Quinn, Charly McClard, Cross Quinn, Maeve Cooper, Knox Hurdle and Campbell Besharse.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to the Weiner Christian Church and Weiner Cemetery.
