He was predeceased by: his mother Novella Capps Johnston Crays; his stepfather Claude Crays; and his siblings, Claude Dean Crays, Randall Crays and Claudette Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Fern Smith Johnston; his children, Donald Boucher (Rebecca) of Pocahontas, Teresa Logsdon of Pocahontas and Tracy Estrada (Ramiro) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his siblings, Wesley Johnston (Denise) of Pocahontas, Katherine Myers of Jonesboro and Betty Stout of Pocahontas; and his grandchildren, Stuart Blalock (Crystal) of Pocahontas, Laura Taylor (Max) of Pocahontas, Ramiro Estrada (Andrea) of Oklahoma City, Cruz Estrada of Oklahoma City, Erica Dunlap (Jeremy) of Pocahontas and Dylan Boucher (Hailee) of Pocahontas.
