He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Lillie Jane Songer Nipps; his wife Elizabeth Nancy Smith; his children, Sue Ann Nipps and Roy Nipps; and his siblings, Leamon, Odis, Earnie, James, Charles Nipps, Mary Louise DeMarb and Anna Mae Hackworth.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Nipps (Elaine) of Pocahontas, Jeffrey Nipps of Pocahontas, Bobby Joe Nipps of Pocahontas, Connie Nelson of Pocahontas, Linda Smith and Greg Wilkerson of Ravenden Springs; and his grandchildren, Ricky Nipps Jr. of Pocahontas, Tiffany Wicker of Pocahontas, Jason Smith of Pocahontas, Dylan Smith of Pocahontas, Gary Ingram of Pocahontas, Chasity McPherson of Pocahontas, Charity Ingram of Pocahontas, Kevin Johnson of Pocahontas, Ashley Ellington of Oklahoma and David Anglin of Corning. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
