With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julie Mae Deatherage (Pocahontas, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Julie Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Julie Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Banks and Dortha Nation Banks; and her brothers, Samuel and John Banks. She is survived by: her son Erik Deatherage (Tiffany) of Monette; her brother Robert Banks (Sondra) of Lake City; her grandson Mark Deatherage; her nephew Michael Banks (Nikki) of Lake City; and her great-nephews, Tyson and Brody Banks.
