He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Thielemier and Anna Schaechtel Thielemier; and his siblings, Robert, Thomas, Daniel Thielemier and Joann.
He is survived by: his wife Virgina Vandergriff Thielemier (Nancy); his children, Tony Thielemier, Dale Thielemier of Pocahontas and Nick Thielemier of Georgia; his grandchildren, Destiny Thielemier of Pocahontas, Kylie Thielemier of Pocahontas and Kensie Thielemier of Pocahontas; his siblings, Bernard Thielemier (Sharon), Sydney Thielemier (Raynetta), Gary Thielemier (Melissa), Leonard Thielemier, Marcia Golden, Carolyn Luter (Tom), Lena Faulkner, Barb Swann, Rose Hutsell (Dennis) and Christine Slusser (Coy); and his sister-in-law Shirley Thielemier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
