He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Shepherd; his children, Christina Bamford (Nathan C.) of Bangor and Bradley Shepherd (Gail) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Logan, Nathan T., Riley, Andrea, Ethan, Nolan, Jane Bamford, Katelyn Bamford Nsr, Benjamin, Samuel and Abraham Shepherd; his great grandchildren, Alec, Emersyn, Archer and Theo Bamford; his grandchild Nsr; and his brother David Shepherd (Lora) of Nevada.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701). The military honors was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maynard Methodist Church (15 Boyer Dr, Maynard, AR 72444). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
