He was predeceased by: his father Hughie McDowell; his former wife Susan; his sisters, Geri and Sara; his father-in-law Sam DeAngelo; and his sister-in-law Karen McDowell.
He is survived by: his wife Debra DeAngelo McDowell; his children, Jimbo (Jackie), Paul (Sherry), Sean (Clarissa), Mitch (Nikki), Johnna (Larry), Vickie (Sabastian), Joshua (Jamie), Destiny and Jasmine; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Devin, Cassey, Kristin, Kyle, Courtney, Makaylee, Miah, Ethyn, Lukis, Ayden, Kayla, Caiden, Gaige, Russy, Serenity, Enoch, Jeremiah, Elana, Tytan, Jacey, Elliot, Araya, Domenick and Dawson; his siblings, Ted, Hughie, Barbara "Corky", Linda and Diane; and his siblings-in-law, Anthony "Rick", Kathi and Toni. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
