He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Thatch and Mattie Kildow Thatch; and his siblings, Jimmy, Gary, Charles Thatch, Betty, Alberta, Pauline, Cecile and Ralph.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Thatch (Nellie) of Pocahontas, Nina Hausman, Lena Watson, Jessie Berry (Clyde) and Charlene Vandergriff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
