He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Jack" Wood and Bernice Curbow Wood; his stepmother Mary Cotton Wood; his mother-in-law Martha Clover Todd; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde Doggett, Patty Greer and Louise Casey.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gale Wood of Pocahontas; his children, Matthew Clover Wood of Pocahontas, Jacob Wood of California, Jackson Wood of Louisiana, Emily Break (David) of Imboden and Chris Ray of Pocahontas; his grandchildren, Chloe, Carl, Caton Break of Imboden, Cody and Joe Ray of Maynard; his siblings, Patsy Barragan (Tony) of California, Thomas "Buddy" Wood of Oregon, Sarah Jones (Willie), Melissa King (Jeremy), Damion Clover (Paige) and Diane Mercer Boner of Iowa; and his pets, Abbie and Beatrice.
