It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Marie Lindsey of Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Redden Johnston and Sally Johnston; her husband Willie Lindsey; and her siblings, Buster Johnston, Thomas Johnston, Ruth Graham, Vela Deimathos, Ferrell Deimathos and Thelma Purdy (Vern Hand).
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lindsey of Pocahontas, Richard Lindsey of Pocahontas, Charles Lindsey of Ashdown and Donna Lindsey Higgins of Cabot. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren; many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
