He was predeceased by: his father W. T. Hendrix; his wife Mazyell Tate Hendrix; his daughter Earlene Hendrix Adams; his grandson Jamie Earl Hendrix; and his siblings, Willy Hendrix, Earnie Hendrix, Clarence Hendrix, Everett Hendrix, Bertha Hendrix and Myrtle Hendrix Mabry.
He is survived by: his son Jimmy Don "Donnie" Hendrix (Judy); his son-in-law Myron Adams; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Don Hendrix Jr., Michael Hendrix, Myron Adams Jr. (Susan), Billy Adams (Tammara), Cody Adams, Leo Kregul, Robert Kregul, Brittany Hendrix (Tim Colburn), Katelynn Hendrix, Stephanie Hendrix Harp (Geoff) and Lorrie Kregul Dominas (John). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
