With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dave Aron Matthews (Pocahontas, Arkansas), who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jamison "Cookie" Matthews; and his grandparents, John, Mildred Gunter, Chestley and Glenda Matthews.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Matthews Fowler; his stepfather Steve Fowler; his father David Matthews; his stepmother Carla Matthews; his children, Dominique Kajun Matthews, Zachary Jamison Matthews (Angel) and Jasmine Bates; his siblings, Milissa Matthews Johnson (Troy), Magan Matthews Wilson (Justin), Dagny Matthews Duley (Justin) and David Matthews (Shoshawna); and his grandchildren, Skylar, Malakhi, Jax and Blayden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
