He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mitchell and Delilah Judy Farr Mitchell; and his children, Charles Mitchell, Jr. and Misty Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Geneva June Horton Mitchell; his daughter Tina Mathenia (Thomas) of Jonesboro; his daughter-in-law Shelley Mitchell of Brookland; his grandchildren, Colby Mitchell (Meggi) of Maynard, Ashton Burgess (Anthony) of Pocahontas, Cathlyn Moore of Jonesboro, Breanna Skimahorn (Dylan Marsh) of Brookland, Austin Barnett of Pocahontas and Kasey Barnett of Pocahontas; his great grandchildren, Cambree, Caven Moore, Rylee and Ryder Burgess; and his siblings, Dickie Mitchell of Imboden, Randy Mitchell of Cherokee Village, Erma Warf (Utt) of Milan and Gayla Kincade (Mike) of Imboden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
