It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Eugene Simpson of Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bobby Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bobby Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow "Woody" Simpson and Zelma Morris Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Judie Surles Simpson; his children, Rhonda McDaniel (Kim) of Jonesboro, Doug Simpson (Lisa) of Houston, TX. and Dennis Simpson (Lisa) of Claremont, CA.; his stepson Grant Teel (Karen) of Pocahontas; and his sisters, Dee Anderson (Blaine) of Springfield, MO. and Debbie Tripplett (Steve) of Kansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
