It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Gerald Hawkins (Pocahontas, Arkansas), who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Hawkins and Freda Kennedy Hawkins; his siblings, J. C., Snowden and Lavice Robbins; and his grandson Chris Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Woodsmall Hawkins; his sons, Royce Gerald Hawkins, Billy Jay Hawkins and Tony Leo Hawkins; his grandchildren, Wes, Chelsea, Kaley, Jaycee, Amber and Kerra; and his close friends, Johnny Boyd, Ray Kirkland, Ralph Wells, Damon Laffoon and Buddy Thweatt. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
