It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Lou Womble of Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Elmer and Eulah Jane Poe (Rodgers); her husband Bruce Edison Womble, Sr.; her siblings, Bob Poe, Sr., Elmer Poe, Bernice Billips and Opal Snow; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Smith and Bruce Womble III.

She is survived by: her children, Belinda Rice (Bob) of Sherwood, Benita Little (Mark) of White Hall and Bruce Womble (Lorie) of Hollister, MO; her brother Bill Poe Sr. (Helen) of Pocahontas; and her grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Jessica), Briana Jean (Josh), Taylor White (Hunter), Steven Simpson II (Jennifer), Blake Simpson (Bianca), Ben Simpson, Cheyenne Cook (Virgil), Shamela Blackmon (Carlos), Lane Womble, Chad Fry and Meagan Thick. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
