He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dan Harold Thurston and Grace Mae Hohl Thurston; his close friend Faye McCoy of Plumerville; his daughters, Linda Sinclair (Jim) of Seligman and Laura Shankle (Lennie) of Natchitoches, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Jeffery Alford, Jennifer Gartrell and Lindsey Robicheaux. He was also cherished by eight great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
