He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Stewart Handlang of Plumerville; his son Dutch Handlang (Kristen Twitchell) of Northfield, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Elijah Rankin, Stafford Handlang, Blue Handlang and Charlotte Handlang; and his brother Harold Handlang.
