It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Robert Johnston of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyley Johnston of Washington and Edna Victoria Waddill; his wife Sadie Marie Johnston; his son Robert Keith Johnston; his sisters, Dessie Orene Crouch, Nellie Evelyn Brock and Edna Wynona Kelley; and his grandson Brian Keith Johnston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Johnston of Little Rock and Debbie Brock of Alvin, Texas; and his brother Charles Johnston of Angleton, Texas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
