He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Bumpous and Gertrude "Dolly" Bumpous (House); his wife Peggy Delois (Chambliss); his children, Lonny Bumpous and Connie Hill; his grandsons, Tanner and Brian Bumpous; his great grandchild Noah Ruddell; his great great grandchild Sophie Wilson; his siblings, Pauline Ball, Larry Bumpous, Troy Bumpous, Earline Harris, Opal Bumpous, Gertie Maples, James Bumpous and Vernon Bumpous; and his daughters-in-law, Margie, Sheree and Leslie Bumpous.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronny Bumpous (Teresa), Donny Bumpous (Gennie), Tim Bumpous (Elizabeth), James Bumpous (Kim) and Thomas Bumpous (Christy); his sister Lorene Foster; and his children-in-law, Bill Hill and Judy Bumpous. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; and countless family members and friends.
