She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Sargent and Martha Sargent; her husband Henry Z. Taylor Sr.; her children, Ann Hall and Shirley Gamble; and her siblings, Clarence Sargent, Wilburn Sargent, Alfred Sargent and Florence Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Elliott (John Roach), Henry Z. Taylor Jr., Michael D. Taylor (Brinda Williams) and Joan DePriest; and her sister Irene Treadway. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Independence Missionary Baptist Church (7908 Batesville Blvd, Pleasant Plains, AR 72568). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the Goad Cemetery.
