He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alex Cavins and Donna Cavins; and his significant other Caire Standridge. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Lee Cavins, Jessica Cavins Grand Junction, Ashley Cavins of Russellville, Matthew Cavins of Dover and Chloe Cavins of Plainview; and his siblings, James E. Sims Jr. of Wisconsin, Larry Robinson of Casa, Paula Jones of Plainview, Peggy Treadwell of Plainview, Benita Smith of Plainview and Brenda Lowery of Florida. He is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
